About The GastroGnome

Being a GastroGnome is not about sitting idly on the front lawn of culinary cottages, but rather, it is about exploration into the wide world of culinary creations. The GastroGnome is young, daring and always on the look out for something new. There is no animal part too scary, no dining method to exotic. And after The Gastrognome eats, The Gastrognome tells. The GastroGnome is a daring cook as much as she is a daring eater, and after many delicious meals, she tries to recreate them in her home kitchen. You can contact the GastroGnome: naomibishop at gmail.com

The Gastrognome does, on occasion, accept freebies from companies, but you’ll always be told if The Gastrognome didn’t pay for a product or meal referred to in a post.

  7. Naomi — So good to meet you yesterday. I would have loved to have talked more. (For instance, among other connections, I have spent three summers in Peru, including the Northern coast.) Thanks for the introduction to some more great dishes at Chiangs.

  8. I love your site — I had to bookmark it on my blog. The tamales are adorable and all the bright colors in the photos are just lovely. Hooray for Northwest foodies!

  9. My name is Jeff Anderson and I represent a new hard cider in the Northwest, Crispin Cider. I would like to mail or drop off samples of Crispin Hard Apple Cider. Please let me know what works best for you.
